1 Peter 1:7-9

⁷ so that the genuineness of your faith^(A)—more valuable than gold, which perishes though refined by fire^(B)—may result^(C) in^[a] praise, glory, and honor^(D) at the revelation of Jesus Christ.^{(E) 8} You love Him,^(F) though you have not seen^(G) Him. And though not seeing Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice^(H) with inexpressible and glorious joy, ⁹ because you are receiving the goal of your^[b] faith, the salvation of your souls.^[c]
